As part of our “Meet the Makers” interview series, we asked our Makers to tell us a little about themselves. Today, meet Martin from Underwater Robots!
I’m Martin Evans, from Peterhead, North East Scotland.
2) What do you do?
I build Underwater Robots, including underwater ROVs (Remote Operated Vehicles). I’ve also just been appointed as a national coordinator for Code Club in Scotland.
3) Do you have a website?
4) What will you have on your stall?
I’ll have my original robot, a couple of Micro ROV’s in a tank for people to play with, an OpenROV (an open source underwater robot) and hopefully a new Raspberry Pi-based autonomous underwater robot.
5) Are you running any workshops?
6) Have you been to a Maker Faire before?
- Brighton 2011, 2012, 2013
- Newcastle 2011, 2013
