Knitting the Map is a project that will bring together Local History and various Crafts (spinning, natural dyeing and knitting). We have spun and dyed a few kilos of local sheeps’ wool ready to start knitting our map – the 1792 ‘Terrier’ map of Brighthelmstone, showing the original Laines, Furlongs and Paul strips of old Brighton.
