Surrey and Hampshire Hackspace

Tags: arduino electronics hackspace

We are a friendly group of 50+ geeks who have founded a hackspace around the Surrey/Hampshire border. Regular hack sessions occur each Thursday of the month. Check the website for more information and join the Google Group (link on the homepage) to join us.

At the Faire we will have a range of projects members are working on. Including a very naughty clown, LED cube and Raspberry Pi buzzer game with a musical backing track.

We will also have a small number of Arduino Shrimp kits with 3 built in activities that can be programmed using the Arduino IDE available to purchase on the day. Full detailed instructions provided with the kit.

The kit includes an 840 pin breadboard and enough components for other fun future projects (3 LEDs, 3 LDR, 2 buttons, Piezo Buzzer, 10K potentiometer and a bunch of resistors to make them work)

There are also a number of members building RepRap 3D printers.

Swing by for a chat/or to get involved.
